Reflection: Fourth Grading

Time really fly so fast! Last grading is  now ended. And our High School life is now over. It seems that, it was just like yesterday that we entered Ilocos Sur National High School as a freshmen. First day of school was full of nervousness, especially when we were going to introduced ourselves infront.

Being an ISNHSians, we met different teachers. Teachers who are there when you really need them. They really did their jobs being our secong parents in our second home. Those crazy moments we have will be treasured in my hearts forever. No one else can replace you in my heart guys! :)

In our last grading period, I learned about Adobe Photoshop. And I love it! Photoshop is about editing photos. It really suits our generation, because today, teens, not only teens, are now using photo editor to edit their photos. If you want to have a fairer and whiter skin, remove pimples or acne, etchetera, try Adobe Photoshop. It will give you the skin and face you are dreaming of. :)

I just want to extend my thank you to our beautiful and kind ICT teacher, Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz for being a such an industrious teacher and good example to us. She never failed us for teaching what we need to know. We will never forget you, Ma'am. :) And thank you also ISNHS for those memories. :D

My Dream, My Future

My dream is to become a teacher since I was young. In my elementary days! :)

When I was in grade, first day of school, I was so shy to talk to somebody. My teacher inspired me with hope and courage. So, I thought to be a teacher like him and to inspire children with dream and hope through love. And, most of all, I was very interested in teaching knowledge to children who don't know. This made me think of being a teacher.

 

I will teach those children and help them to guide in the right path. I'll show them the way to become a better person and to be a successful citizen someday. I'll never give up on teaching them. Just like our teachers, I'll be good example to them. 

To be a teacher, I have to study hard. But, I need strong leadership and good personal relationship as well. Physical health support me with studying and getting a job later. Of course, it may not easy. But, old saying says "Where there's a will, there's a way". Nothing can be impossible by continuous effort.

Change: It Starts With Me

The most important leadership is not power, achievement, experience or charisma. You set the tone the people you lead. They loook to you being a model of behaviours that builds a healthy and effective organization. 

And because they look at you as their leader, you also watch yourself. Being their leader, you should know how to control your people. When someone starts expecting you to be there for them; instead of appreciating you for being there with them, it's time for a change.

Let other people know that you can be a good leader as they are. Let them know that Change starts with You! 

Kannawidan Festival :)

On January 29, Ilocos opened with a celebrated mass held at St. Paul Cathedral. Ilocos Sur, especially Vigan is branded as the Heart of Ilocandia by the Philippine Historical Committee. It's a province that is very rich in Philippine Culture.

Kannawidan is a fun-filled week of celebration of the Kannawidan Festival in Ilocos Sur. Various festivities were stagged from trade, agriculture, aqua, and livestock while a displayof farm products opened in the six-day festival. Tradition was also found in the culinary treats that residents prepared including delicacies that Ilocos Sur is known for.

New Year New Me

Year 2014 has been such a good year for all of us. Though, we also suffer some crisis, like Typhoons. But, we Filipinos don't just give up that easily. After those calamities and crisis that challenged our faith, we still believed in our Almighty Father.

Every new year, most of us are making a New Year's resolution, for us to become a better person or citizen. Others, keep on making resolution yet they're not making it into reality. In this new year, I'm going to be more serious in my studies, to be interact with the other students, and to have a strong faith to God.

And yeah! Third Grading is over. Just like reading a book, especially when that book is your favorite and you keep on reading that book though you already know the ending. Everything has a limit. Everything must come to an end, yet memories lasts. In this grading, we learned how to use HTML tags. 

Being a 4th year student, I am so happy because since the first day I step in this school as a freshmen, I met new people, who I called now my friends. Because of them, my High school life was full of happiness. In this coming fourth grading, or the last grading I should say, we must strive harder, study harder to achieved our main goals in life.And all the learnings will served as a my inspiration  because lessons learned from our dear teachers is priceless.

Christmas :)

It's the time of the year again. December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas. But what is the real meaning of Christmas? Is is the gifts under the tree, the lights in the windows, the cards in the mail, turkey dinner with family and friends, snow in the yard, stockings hanging in the living room, and shouts of "Merry Christmas" to those who pass us in the streets? Is this really Christmas?

Christmas is one of the most important holidays of Christianity, and is celebrated by billions of people throughout the world. During this day, Christians comemmorate the birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas, however, is also the most commercialized religious holiday in the western world. During this time, people are out gift-shopping for their loved ones, city streets are decorated with reindeer, elves, and candy canes, and children are constantly wondering what Santa Claus will bring them. Although these things add joy and warmth to Christmas, they are simply not enough. It is important to reflect upon the esoteric symbolism of Christmas during the holiday season.
